Nadira along with her friends is trying to bring down a fruit from a tree but all their efforts seems to be going down in vain. Later, Saleem sees Nadira looking up at the tree and assumes that she wants the fruit. He immediately takes out his bow and shoots an arrow at the fruit. The arrow misses its mark and instead hits Nadira's friend and he comes falling down from the tree. Saleem begins to cry seeing this and later flees the spot. Nadira on the other hand takes the boy to a local 'hakim' and there she tells them all about the real culprit behind this accident. Akbar and Jodha discuss about all that had taken place the previous night, but Akbar seems to be in a romantic mood. Later, while Akbar is speaking to Saleema Begum and Jodha Begum, Rukaiyya Begum makes an entry. She asks Akbar to take back the responsibilities of the 'haram' that he had earlier handed over to her. Rukaiyya is upset that Akbar stood against her decision she had made against Nadira's father. Akbar later, in his own intelligent manner explains the entire matter to Rukaiyya. Meanwhile Saleem and Murad get into a fight while playing a game of chess and just then Akbar enters. They try to fool Akbar and begin to hug each other but Akbar does not get fooled and instead asks them to learn some art that is required on the battlefield. Later. Saleem and his other cousins try to bring down a fruit from the tree with the help of their bows and arrows and all take a turn to do so. Jodha and Saleem together pray in front of Lord Krishna's staute and after a while Akbar joins them. Jodha later goes on to narrate the entire incident involving Nadira and Saleem. Akbar goes on to ask Jodha to go out on an outing with him and the two of them along with Saleem leave the palace with a troop. On the way they hear that a gang of decoit lives nearby and to ensure their safety they all camp at a safe place for the night. At night suddenly the decoits attack the camp and Saleem hurls his sword at the decoit and tries to save his mother. The injured decoit removes his mask and it turns out to be Akbar. Saleem takes part in the proceedings of the court for the first time and he gets shocked when he sees his father announcing a death punishment for the guilty. He convinces Akbar to change the punishment and listening to Saleem, Akbar changes his judgement and gives them life imprisonment. Later, Nadira's family is invited to be a part of the celebrations at the palace at night and Nadira's wish of looking around the entire kingdom seems to be getting fulfilled. Meanwhile, Saleem innocently complains about his father to Jodha and also tells her that his father is scared of him. He hears his father's voice and immediately runs away, leaving his parents laughing. Later, Rukaiyya begum tries to feed him some 'charas' but just then he sees Nadira entering the kingdom and he leaves Rukaiyya begum and walks out. Saleem meets Nadira and the two of them get into arguments. Saleem is surprised to learn that it was his own father who had named Nadira. Later, Nadira goes to Bakshi Banu's stall but is unable to shoot the arrow. Saleem reaches there and shoots the target for her. He wins a pencil and gives it to Nadira but she refuses to take it as she feels that he is the rightful owner of that pencil. Later, Nadira comes to Saleem's stall along with her mother and after buying an item she is asked to get her hand kissed by the prince. Nadira hesitates for a moment but finally gives her hand. Jodha later explains to Akbar that he has made a mistake by making such announcement as this will for sure upset Rukkaiya begum. Finally Akbar, Jodha and Rukkaiya begum come to the arrangement that Rukkaiya will put up the stall along with Saleem and Jodha will help her in putting up the stall. Later at Meena bazaar, the little girl too arrives along with her mother. But the girl decides to ignore Saleem's stall and instead goes to Murad's stall and purchases some sweets. Meanwhile, Jodha Begum is upset with Saleem although he has admitted his mistake, Akbar tries to patch up their differences but Jodha finds this out. Jodha finally has a smile on her face and forgives her dear son. Later, Akbar announces the opening of 'Meena Bazaar' and declares that the stall with the maximum profit will get a reward from him. Saleem and the other kids ask for Akbar's permission to be a part of 'meena bazaar' and Akbar immediately announces that only those begums who have kids will be able to put up a stall in the 'meena bazaar'. Meanwhile, Jodha and Akbar begin to get scared when they do not find Saleem anywhere. Akbar immediately begins searching for his son everywhere but in vain. Meanwhile, Saleem manages to find the girl but the girl refuses to take back her anklets. After some arguments Saleem hands over the anklets to the girl and walks towards the kingdom. Saleem gets angry and tries to shout at her, but the little girl seems unafraid by him or his royal status. Later, Saleem tries to hide the anklets from Akbar but he anyhow comes to know about it. Akbar asks Saleem to throw the anklets and later asks him to make a choice between a sword and the anklets. Saleems runs away to his mother and says that he is afraid of sword and is fond of the sound of the anklets. Akbar gets angry and decides to teach the art of sword fighting to the kids. The guards manage to stop the fight and the children go to Akbar with the believe that he will do justice. Akbar listens to both the parties and gives his decision that since Saleem had saved the bird that was being hunted down, it now belongs to him. Muraad and his friends are unhappy with the verdict given by Akbar and they complain to their mothers about it. Later, Saleem distributes food, clothes and other items to the poor and needy and just then he hears the sound of music.
